- Third-Party Services on Our Website
We use the following service providers, which may set cookies or collect usage data on our behalf:
- HubSpot for our contact and call-back forms, live chat and website analytics. Information you submit through these forms or the chat is stored in our HubSpot account. See HubSpot’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Website. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Calendly when you book a call through our Appointments page. See Calendly’s Privacy Notice.
- Our Content Platform and Connected Accounts (app.finalert.com)
Finalert operates an internal platform at app.finalert.com that our team uses to prepare and publish our own articles and videos and to share them on Finalert’s own social media accounts. The platform is used only by authorized Finalert staff and connects only to accounts that Finalert owns or manages.
YouTube and Google. The platform uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to Finalert’s YouTube channel, update their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and privacy settings, and display the channel’s videos and view counts. By interacting with our YouTube content you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The platform stores the access tokens Google issues for Finalert’s channel, along with basic channel and video details, so that it can perform these actions. This access can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page. Finalert’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X. The platform connects to Finalert’s Facebook Page, Instagram business account, LinkedIn company page and X account to publish posts that link to our articles and videos. For each connected account it stores the access tokens issued by the platform, the account or page name and identifier, and the results of each post (such as the post link). It does not collect information about other people who use these platforms, and it does not read or store private messages.
How we use and protect this data. Information obtained through these connections is used only to publish and manage Finalert’s own content. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties except the platform it came from. Tokens are stored on servers we control and are never shown in full in the platform’s interface.
Disconnecting and data deletion. Any connected account can be disconnected at any time, which deletes its stored tokens from the platform. You can also remove the platform’s access directly from Facebook (Settings and privacy, then Apps and websites), LinkedIn (Settings, then Data privacy) or X (Settings, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions). To ask us to delete any data the platform holds that relates to you, email info@finalert.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will confirm and complete the request within 30 days.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of our Service after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
